I paint mostly in oils, working sometimes in acrylics. I paint from life and from photographs including seascapes, cityscapes, landscapes and still life. Recently I have been exploring Plein Air painting.

After a degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of East Anglia, I worked for many years in London in public relations and education.  

I eventually relocated to Leigh-on-Sea where I discovered a love of painting in oils inspired and encouraged by local artist, the late Peter Smith.
