Jenny paints mostly in oils, working sometimes in acrylics. She paints from life and from photographs including seascapes, cityscapes, landscapes and still life.  Her painting style is loose with a focus on palette and impression.

After a degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of East Anglia, Jenny worked for many years in London in public relations and education.  

Jenny eventually relocated to Leigh-on-Sea where she discovered a love of painting in oils inspired and encouraged by local artist, the late Peter Smith.
